Infant Room:
All children in our care will experience positive and responsive interactions between all educators, students, and volunteers working in our centre. Early brain development is stimulated through experiences and interactions with responsive adults. As a community of learners at Serendipity, we have made a commitment to put respect at the heart of everything we do. Respect for the child, respect for the family, and respect for the educator builds strong, positive, authentic relationships. We will recognize each child as a citizen with equal rights to live and learn in society and we will build programs based on diversity, equity, and inclusion. Our children will feel included and safe in their relationships with our educators.
Our infant room is licensed for 6 children each day ages newborn-18 months. We are proud to provide the "HiMama" program for parents to keep updated and involved in their child's day and activities that they are engaging in. Our infants are given opportunities to explore their world with a variety of activities including scensory activities, gross and fine motor experiences, plenty of time outdoors and much more!
